Upperquad was responsible for creating the splash and intro page for Google's now defunct social network called Google Spaces. The concept revolved on creating different "spaces" around diffent topics or subjects that groups of friends could comment, chat, and share content around. We chose to create a site where each space exists it's own world that friends can drop in and out of.

We illustrated each space as its own world that friends can drop in and out of. The large expressive illustrations travel and animate as you scroll down the page to illustrate how the product works.

The illustrations and videos that activated on scroll allowed us to pack a lot of information and style within a limited amount of space.
