This is a logo and label for my father-in-law. He is a hobbyist winemaker cultivating his own wines in Sonoma County focusing on Sonoma and Italian varietals he wanted a label to reflect his own personal flavor.

01 — Making something
The logotype itself was inspired by Italian design and typography. The iconography of the dog chasing the rabbit comes from a family saying in Piedmontese that says, "If the dog didn't stop to take a piss, then maybe he would have caught the rabbit" He chose that iconography as an omage to his family.

We went through a few iterations before landing ont he final piece. Each one having it's own special personality.
